CNAP ESSENTIALS
THE GOLD STANDARD TRAINING FOR NONPROFIT FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS
|
The first of two courses, the intensive CNAP Essentials curriculum covers fundamental topics in nonprofit financial management.
Eligibility: There are no prerequisites to take this course; however, in order to receive the CNAP certification, participants must have a minimum of 18 months experience in a fiscal management capacity at a nonprofit organization. Participants without the requisite experience can still take the course and submit proof of their work experience once they have completed the requirement.
Training Formats: Online: Delivered live on the web through seven weekly two-hour sessions. In person: Three-day training held in New York, the San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, and several other locations nationally.
CPE Credits: BDO is authorized to offer 14 CPE (Continuing Professional Education) credits through the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. Attendees must attend all sessions and pass the exam to receive credit.

CNAP ADVANCED
INTENSIVE FOLLOW-ON FOR GRADUATES OF CNAP ESSENTIALS

CNAP Advanced is the second installment of the CNAP Training program, available only to graduates of CNAP Essentials. Students take a deep dive into activating the lessons of CNAP across their organizations, moving from fiscal confidence and skills to fiscal leadership and organizational transformation.
Eligibility: Participants must have taken and passed the CNAP Essentials Course exam to be eligible to take this course. To be eligible for the CNAP Advanced Certificate, participants must submit proof of their CNAP Essentials certification at the end of the course.
Training Formats: Online: Delivered live on the web through five weekly two-hour sessions. In person: Two-day training held in New York and the San Francisco Bay Area.
CPE Credits: BDO is authorized to offer 10 CPE (Continuing Professional Education) credits through the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. Attendees must attend all sessions and pass the exam to receive credit.
